Buckle up, buttercup, and get ready for another round of random thoughts from yours truly! It’s been a wild year and I simply have not been able to keep up. Is anyone with me? There seem to be twists and turns at every hill we hit nowadays. Life continues despite the economy and reported coronavirus variants. It’s tiring to be sure. So, let’s discuss a few things.
~ Let’s get the question “what’s been up with me?” out of the way first. That first paragraph pretty much sums up my life the last several months. It seems I go from one fatigue spell to another distraction in a random merry-go-round of begrudging busy-ness. I have many blog topics that have hit me. Then, life. Distractions. One event. Rest. Another event. And, so on. I’ve simply lost track of my “regular” schedule. Darn it! So, apologies to my regular readers for the sparse posts over recent months.
“Nothing is bad in and of itself. It is only perceived that way because of how it is used.” ~ Unknown
Have you heard of VigiAccess.org? It is chock full of vital information! Or, well, it was. It is currently “unavailable” on the web. I’m sure the information database is still out there somewhere. It was a central database of random C-19 vaccine adverse effects. For a good introduction to the site you can check out this informational post. And, of course, keep checking back regularly. You never know, it may become active again someday.
“Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.” ~ Sun Tzu, The Art of War
~ Speaking of lack of blogging lately, I have realized something new. Did you know good research takes time to really suss out a deep topic? Yes. Why, yes, it does! I mean, I knew this. But, I did not know the extent of the research time involved in some topics. Lol! Seriously, I have come across several good topics that require deep research. Sadly, I have had little time, or energy, to do the essential research required. Sigh. But, kudos to all the successful research bloggers out there. You guys are impressive! Meanwhile, I’ll keep doing what I can. Its a plan!
“Freedom. The right of every man and every woman. Freedom is a given, not granted by any god or any government, but dictated by the conviction of the individual. The question is, what do you do with that freedom? Do you keep it? Use it selfishly? Or, do you use it to help others, to help everyone?” ~ Unknown
~ In other news, have you noticed the naming of the new variants? Its apparently not a random selection method at all. Supposedly, they are following the Greek alphabet. Interesting enough the Greek alphabet contains the letter Xi. I wonder what they’ll do with that one. That couldn’t possible be the name of a new variant, considering the origins of the “original”. Lol!
“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” ~ Lou Holtz
Can you believe we’re already in October? Not long until to Christmas. Ready or not, here it comes!
“Motivation will almost always beat out mere talent.” ~ Norman Ralph Augustine
This year has flown by! Which means our garden is winding down. Luckily, I’m ready for the break the off season brings. On the bright side, we have a lot of our produce canned and frozen for future use. Woohooo!
“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness” ~ Desmond Tutu
On that note, I’m off to rest for the evening. Today has been a doozy! Lol! Like that last quote states, I’m going to focus on my good times and a great weekend ahead.
Have an awesome week everyone!!!
