Blogiversary & Blog Party

My blog is officially 1 year old this week. THIS blog post marks my 52nd blog post in fifty-two weeks. So….. It’s official. Happy Blogiversary to me! Woohoo! I made it to the 1 Year mark. Whoop! Whoop!

Yes, a blog is a blog is blog, but… YOU my readers have made it so much more worth while for me. So, thank you! Thank you for hanging in there with me. Thank you for reading my posts. And thank you for joining me for my blogiversary party. You are very much appreciated.

Blog History

Reaching this blog milestone has me thinking about how my blogging journey got started. I thought about sharing the story of how My Quirky Friend came to be, but quickly realized that story was a bit longer than I wanted this post to be. After all, it’s party time!

Therefore, I’ll finish writing the story of this great blog and post it next week. So, mark your calendar for next week, and we’ll journey back in time to June of 2018.

On another interesting note, my very first blog post ended up getting split and became my welcome page and my About Me page. If you have time, go ahead and surf around the blogs I’ve posted over the last year. Check them out, if you haven’t already!
