Everyone has their favorite quotes and sayings. I’m sure you have a few of your own. Am I right??? So, for your reading pleasure, and some thought consideration, here are a few quotes and sayings I really like. Enjoy!
#10 – “Where there’s a will there’s a way!” ~ Unknown
There’s a motivating factor to this that helps when you just want to give up. Or, you simply get stumped at your task. I like think I am a hope fanatic. But…. Whatever the issue, this saying reminds us to keep thinking until we figure a way out of the difficulty.
#9 – “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
Oh, man. Is this ever true! How many times do we have to learn that you can never win when you “fight evil with evil”. We do not have to give out only what we receive in. Turn the tides, folks! Be the change you want to see in the world!
#8 – “Hope and hopelessness are both contagious. Its your choice which you choose to spread.” ~ Graham Cooke
I heard this one recently and it just stuck. Wow. Hope vs Hopelessness. Our words have power. We really do get to choose what we are spreading with our words and actions. Keep that in mind next time you’re carrying on about something. What are you spreading???

Again, SO much truth to this! Do you fit this category? Do you want to? I think is some ways, even our small ways, each of us fit this in one way or another. And, I imagine, we’ve changed our worlds more that we realize.

I never really thought about this one. But, after starting my blog, that pretty much sums it up. The hard part is the topic. After that, it really is just “bleeding” out the words.

I wish this would have been instilled in me in my childhood. Oh, the adventures I could’ve had! But, as they say, it’s never too late. Therefore….. Oh, the adventures I have yet to live!

There comes a moment from time to time when you realize that no one else can do what you must do. YOU. And in that moment, you realize you were created for “such a time as this”.
#3 – “You can do anything you set your mind to. The only reason you “can’t” is because you haven’t set your mind to accomplish it.” ~ Unknown. (My dad said this all the time!)
I remember my dad saying this often, amongst other things. Anytime one of us kids said we couldn’t do something. (Usually with a whiny voice. Lol!) Dad. Dad could always see through our BS. And when he chose to call us out on it, this phrase usually came out of his mouth.
#2 – “Everything in life is a choice. Every choice has a consequence. Its your choice which consequence you choose. Choose wisely. ” ~ K. Mathis
Oh, boy. Choices. Choices. And, more choices. Therefore, there are consequences. Consequences. And more consequences. Don’t like your consequences? It’s all in your choices. As always, choose wisely.
#1 – Last but not Least! My Favorite Quote – “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.” ~ Helen Keller.
I have loved that since the very first time I read it! It has been an inspiring factor anytime “Life” has thrown a plot twist my way. Sometimes you just have to buckle up, hang on for dear life, and hope to enjoy the wind in your face while praying you don’t get too many bugs in your teeth along the way. Lol!
