“RATTLE” by Elevation Worship

Last week Elevation Worship released a new song called “RATTLE”. Oh my, goodness! I think I have a new favorite song. This one is powerful!

With the current Covid-19 induced social distancing, and many opting for self-isolation in full swing, everyone seems to be getting restless in one way or another. There seems to be an antsy-ness permeating the very air around us.

This song speaks to the feeling I believe many of us are feeling during these current times. It’s the feeling of our “rest” needing to come to an end. This is the time to “rattle” and rise up again. As a worldwide society, we are about to stir our ‘dead bones” back to life. Coming very soon, we are going to begin a thorough rebirth and burst forth into a whole new normal.

The song starts off with a focus on Jesus the Messiah returning to life over two thousand years ago. I think that’s really symbolic for what is happening among us right now worldwide. As such, we’re all about to jump back into the world. We’re all about to bounce “back to life”. Interestingly, I don’t think things will be the same as they were before.

This, I believe, will be something different. It’ll be the same, yet new and even better than before in many ways. But still, things are changing, and we must get ready. So, shake off your need for the past to return. Look ahead. The sun is rising on a new day. I can feel it. And I can’t wait. It’s closer than we can think or imagine.

Therefore, get ready. Our rebirth is coming. Can you feel the rattle stirring within your very bones? Trust me. It’s there, waiting to break free.

“Dry bones hear the word of the Lord…”

“Come back to life!” “God said Live!….” “LIVE!!!”

Wake up….. and Rattle back to LIFE!
