It has occurred to me that I haven’t done a “random thoughts” post this year. I don’t know why; I guess my mind hasn’t really been that crowded lately. (Shocker! Lol!) Although, this week things have been a bit off, and a post topic hasn’t really presented itself yet. So I figured what the heck. Let’s go ahead and do that random thoughts post now!
Come to think of it, I do have lots of tid-bit stuff running through my head. Random stuff that doesn’t really amount to much of anything to compose a complete post on their own. So, voila’! Here ya go!
Here’s 2020’s first random thoughts post officially from your’s truly…
~ Did you know antibiotics can cause a flare up of Fibromyalgia. This happened to me in February this year. I had no idea this was even a remote possibility. But, it is indeed highly possible.
- On another note, having a virus can potentially “re-activate” any autoimmune disease, including but not limited to Rheumatoid Arthritis. Even the Mayo Clinic states “joint pain can be caused by viral infections”. I never knew that!
Note: Cooking pasta for an hour and a half in an Instant-pot will cause the pasta to complete disintegrate. Therefore, make sure to verify the correct time on your Instant-pot settings before starting it. (Yep. That should have been a “3 minute” cooking session, not set for “three hours”. That was a surprise! Lol)
~ As a face mask alternative, you can use a balaclava, neck gaiter, buff or bandanna. Some like these, are long enough to double up and insert a filter for use in your public forays to protect yourself and others from Covid-19. (You’re welcome.)

- My brain is in serious squirrel mode now! (Funny. Not funny.)
~ Webroot Internet Security Complete is a good antivirus and internet security program. I’ve used it for years. (Tip #1: It’s more cost effective to buy a new keycode each year, outside the program “upgrade” option. I use Amazon because they offer the best price. Tip#2: Wait until the absolute last minute to input the new keycode. Once the keycode is entered the new service period begins; the old keycode and the rest of it’s active term on that device are gone.)
- Wendy’s fast food restaurants were giving away free nuggets today only. I missed it. (Though I can’t eat those luscious breading covered bits anyway. Darn it.) Did you get some?

- I’m contemplating getting another dog. Hmmm. Its been a little while since my last furry friend crossed the rainbow bridge. (I have no idea where the term “rainbow bridge” came from. Lol!) Regardless, I’m finding myself suddenly longing for furry snuggles and companionship. I just might do it. Stay tuned. Introductions might actually happen!
And on that note, I’m off to peruse the fur pet adoption sites. Hopefully, the girl I’ve got my eye on is still available! Please. And thank you.
